1. Introduction

ZealSofts Innovative Solutions (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Keepy mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using Keepy, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you create an account, we collect the following information through Firebase Authentication:

  • Email address

  • Display name (if provided)

  • Authentication provider details (Google account ID or Apple ID, depending on your sign-in method)

This information is necessary to create and manage your account, enable you to sign in across devices, and provide customer support.

2.2 Analytics and Usage Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data to help us improve the App. This may include:

  • Screen views and navigation patterns

  • Feature usage (e.g., number of photos reviewed, swipe actions taken)

  • Session duration and frequency

  • Device type, operating system version, and app version

This data is collected in aggregate form and is not linked to your personal identity.

2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be transparent about what Keepy does not do:

  • We do NOT upload, store, or transmit your photos to any external server. All photo processing happens entirely on your device.

  • We do NOT access the content of your photos. We only read metadata such as image dimensions, file type, and creation date to estimate file sizes and organize your review.

  • We do NOT collect payment or financial information. All purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store through RevenueCat.

  • We do NOT collect precise location data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Purpose Details
Account Management To create and maintain your account, authenticate your identity, and enable sign-in across sessions.
App Functionality To provide core features including photo review, categorization, deletion, progress tracking, and statistics.
Analytics To understand how users interact with the App, identify areas for improvement, and fix bugs.
Subscription Management To verify your premium status and provide access to paid features via RevenueCat.
Communications To respond to your inquiries and provide customer support when you contact us.

4. Third-Party Services

Keepy integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

  • Firebase Authentication: Manages user sign-in and account creation. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

  • Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymized usage data. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

  • RevenueCat: Manages in-app subscriptions and purchase verification. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

  • Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Handles payment processing for in-app purchases.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your photo review data (categorization decisions, session statistics, and preferences) is stored locally on your device using SQLite. This data is not synced to any cloud service.

Account information processed through Firebase is stored on Google’s secure servers. We rely on Firebase’s security infrastructure, which includes encryption in transit and at rest.

While we implement commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the App’s Settings screen, your Firebase account data will be permanently deleted. Local data stored on your device (SQLite database) can be removed by uninstalling the App.

Anonymized analytics data may be retained in aggregate form for a reasonable period to support ongoing app improvement.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.

  • Deletion: Delete your account and associated data through the App’s Settings screen, or by contacting us.

  • Opt-Out of Analytics: You may limit analytics data collection through your device’s privacy settings.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 11.

8. Children’s Privacy

Keepy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including countries where Firebase and other third-party service providers maintain servers. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those of your jurisdiction. By using the App, you consent to such transfers.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a revised “Effective Date.” We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
